WHY THE TRUST NEEDS FOREIGN FUNDING

At present YASHWANT MEMORIAL TRUST which is based at Panvel in Raigad district, is a small trust trying to help in all way as far as ‘literacy’ is concerned. Since 1999 we were able to do something as all the investments required were done by the Trustees, no outside support from any source.

The Trust needs funds for building necessary infrastructure. Since the inception of the Trust, all the trust activities have been functioning from Trustees’ owned premises at free of cost.

Secondly, the Trust plans to expand educational activities in towns of Raigad district like Uran, Pen, Karjat, Khopoli, Khalapu, Roha, Mangaon, Mahad, Shrivardhan etc.

On receiving foreign funds, we will utilise the same on following activities:-

• IT Literacy Programme
• Communication Skills in English
• Job Oriented Vocational Education
• Guidance Programme for SSC Drop out Students
• Skill Development Programmes
• Education and Training to Working Professionals
• Awareness Programme on Professional Courses – CA CS ICWA MBA BCA MCA B Tech M Tech etc.
• Scholarships for SSC, HSC, Graduate, Post Graduate, Professional Courses
• Distribution of educational books, stationery, school uniforms
• Construction of Reading Hall cum Educational Library
• Construction of College of Commerce, Economics and Management Research.
• Construction of Hostel and Orphanage
• Earn And Learn Scheme
• Establishing Centre of Employment and Self Employment
• Providing medical services like hospitalisation, ambulance, medicines etc.
